Michael Joseph Brewer

On May 9, 2015 after, a long illness, Michael Joseph Brewer was a Remington Businessman, Dad to many and friend to all. Father to his chosen family Doug, Clyde, Mikey, Nancy Sherman, Nancy Mulligan, Mike Marshall, Rodney and Reggie, and Alexander Dykes. Grandfather to Emmy, Kiki, Elisa, Payton, Ariyal, Kaylee, Chase and Allysa. Born on October 29, 1941 in Washington, D.C. he attended Marmion Military Academy in Chicago and graduated from the University of Maryland. Owner of a Construction Company in Washington before moving to Baltimore to operate the Open House Restaurant and later opened SAV-IT Liquors on 29th St. He enjoyed boating, dining out and just being with friends. He spent his lifetime devoted to his Mother, who departed on June 24, 2014 at 103 years old. Michael departed on May 9, 2015 the day before Mother’s Day to be with his Mom on Mother’s Day.

Friends are invited to call at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, Inc., 3631 Falls Road Balto, MD 21211, on Tuesday From 3-5 and 7-9 P.M.

Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church,1008 West 37th Street, Balto., MD 21211.

Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 1300 Bladensburg Road Washington, D.C. 20002. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Church at the above address.
