Iglehart was born in Richmond, VA. to Gordon Murray and Ursula Stewart Murray on Oct. 10, 1951. Soon thereafter, the family moved to Roland Park in Baltimore. She attended the Bryn Mawr school and the Hannah More School, and later studied at Keene State College in New Hampshire.
She was a career recruiter, specializing in I.T. and executive search, and founded her own company, Iglehart Search Inc., in 1995, serving clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic.
A lifelong dog-lover and avid amateur photographer, she also volunteered for numerous causes, including serving seven years as a Court-Appointed Special Advisor (CASA), following the progress of children in the Baltimore city foster program.
A longtime resident of Mt. Washington, she is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ken Iglehart, son Alex Iglehart of Chapel Hill, N.C., daughter Leigh Iglehart of Brooklyn, N.Y., and sister Gillian Murray Koerber of Charleston, S.C.
The family wishes to thank her neighbors and many friends for their support.
In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to the Maryland SPCA.
