He is a truly unforgettable man whose laughter, stories, and larger-than-life personality touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He lived life entirely on his own terms — boldly, fiercely, and with a sense of humor that could light up any room.
Funny, hardworking, and endlessly talented, he was deeply loved by his family, friends, and all who crossed his path.
A skilled craftsman and proud business owner, he built a respected carpet installation company through years of hard work and dedication. One of his proudest accomplishments was helping install carpet at the National Aquarium, including work in the famous shark display area — a story he loved to tell and one his family will always remember with pride.
He was the kind of man who could fix anything, build anything, and somehow always knew exactly what to do. Whether it was repairing something broken, helping a friend in need, or sharing one of his legendary stories, he brought passion and personality to everything he did. He had a dark sense of humor that kept people laughing, and even during difficult times, he found a way to bring light into the room.
He loved the beach, the freedom of the open road on his motorcycle, and the brotherhood he found with The Freedom Riders motorcycle club. Tattoos told the story of his life, his passions, and the people he loved. He was a devoted fan of football, classic rock, and especially Ozzy Osbourne, whose music was often the soundtrack to his life.
More than anything, he loved living fully and loving deeply. His presence was impossible to ignore, and his absence will be deeply felt. Though hearts are broken, his stories, laughter, and spirit will continue to live on in the countless memories shared by those who loved him most.
He will be remembered always for his humor, his strength, his loyalty, and the way he lived unapologetically as himself. Ride free and rest easy.
He is the devoted father of Bonnie Smith, Nancy Smith, Pamela Miller (Chad) and Amy Miller (Dustin); cherished grandfather of Lori, Kate, Amanda, Alex, Chloe, Maddie, Elias, Eli, and Ethan; great grandfather of Jayden and Willow; lifelong dearest friend to Francine George Walz.
Ronnie is survived by his brothers George Knott, Les Miller and all of the Freedom Riders as well as other loving family members.
And last but never least to dad, his beloved cats, Felony and Misdemeanor.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Burgee Henss Seitz Funeral Home, inc., 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21211, on Friday, May 15,2026 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 pm, with a time of sharing beginning at 7:00 pm. Interment will be private.
