Rose A. Berna Luby

On November 14, 2011, Rosina "Rose" A. Luby (nee Berna), of Baltimore; devoted wife of Thomas A. Luby, Sr. Rose and Tom enjoyed 70 years of married life. Rose was a loving and deeply religious person, her family considers her spiritual beliefs and love of family as her most important legacy. She loved to cook, entertain friends, and be with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Tom and her children and their spouses, Maureen and Carl Fugate, Thomas Jr. and Kathryn Luby, Karen and Christopher Kunkel Sr.; grandchildren, Denise and Mark Harrison, Laurie Hoffman, Thomas and Kathy Luby 3rd, Kristen and Shawn Alliger, Christopher Jr. and Amy Kunkel, Eric and Rachel Kunkel; great-grandchildren, Austin Harrison, Ashlyn Harrison, Samantha Luby, Sarah Luby, Evan Alliger, Logan Kunkel, Gavin Grimes, Sophia Grimes, Avery Kunkel, and Charlotte Rose Kunkel.

Family and friends will honor Rose's life at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, Inc. Baltimore, 3631 Falls Road, on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 10:00 AM, Thursday 17, November 2011.

Internment to follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 4300 Belair Road, Baltimore, MD 21206.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Rose's name may be made to Stella Maris Hospice.
