On September 6, 2013, SANDRA LEE HEAVEL (nee Bell ); loving wife of 52 years to Kenneth Heavel, Jr.; devoted mother of Martha, Kenneth III and Cecelia; cherished grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; dear sister of 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Sandra and Kenneth were married on February 25, 1961 and have lived at the same address for 51 years. Sandra was a member of the degree of Pocahontas for over 40 years. In 1977, she was the Great Pocahontas of Maryland.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, Inc., 3631 Falls Road, 21211, on Thursday and Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Daughter of Pocahontas Service will be held on Thursday at 7:30 PM.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM.
Interment Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in Sandra's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
