Shirley Florence Fair (nee Baseman), age 93, of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2024; beloved wife of the late John Melvin Fair; devoted mother of Rev. J. Stephen Fair and his wife Kathryn; loving grandmother of John Michael Fair and his wife Elizabeth, Jennifer Elizabeth Fair and Christopher Stephen Fair; cherished great-grandmother of Gena Anne Fair and Sean Daniel Fair; dear sister of the late Doris MacKnew. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Troy Baseman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Burgee-Henss-Seitz Funeral Home, 3631 Falls Road, on Thursday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11am. Interment to follow at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
