Thomas William Dodson Jr.

Thomas William Dodson Jr. passed on September 10, 2026.He was a hardworking man who took great pride in his work and in providing for his family. He owned and operated TANK Roofing, a business whose name was created from the initials of his family — a reflection of how important they were to him.

A lifelong Baltimore sports fan, he loved the Orioles and Ravens and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia. He took great pride in his collection and loved sharing his passion for Baltimore sports with others.

He was also known for his sense of humor and love of a good joke. He could always bring a smile to those around him and never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh.

He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His hard work, humor, love of Baltimore sports, and devotion to his family will remain a lasting part of his memory.

He is the beloved husband of Amy Dodson ( nee Bowers); devoted father of Nichole Dodson , Kara Dodson , Neil Dodson, Jodi Dodson and the late Thomas W. Dodson, III; dear brother of the late Catherine Sledge, William Fout, Charles Dodson, James Dodson, Harold Dodson, Dorothy Dodson, and Nancy Hamilton. Tom is also survived by his lifelong friend Lucky Howard, along with many grandchildren, and other family and friends.

A Memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 19,2026, from 2:00-4:00pm at the Burgee Henss Seitz Funeral Home, Inc ., 3631 Falls Road, Baltimore,Maryland 21211. Interment will be private.
