I remember when I was very little, every summer pop would get us a bushel of crabs, steam them and we'd all sit out on the front porch picking and eating until late in the evening.
Pop would call up his old buddy Carol Ashe and they'd bring out the guitars and they'd play and drink the night away.
Me, mommom, pop pop, Gilbert Wilt and Carol Ashe.
Summers were simple but they were always so much fun.
I'm going to miss those old days.
Love you forever pop

I managed to save up some extra money for a weekend trip last year.
Pop had talked about how he had never been to Gettysburg but had always wanted to see the battlefield up close one day.
I and my uncle Larry's friend Phyllis got him up out of bed and took him for a drive for Father's day last year.
I had made reservations for a photo studio in the town of Gettysburg.
He was reluctant tovgo since his gout was flaring up that day.
But despite the pain he was in we all had a fun day.
This was one of the last pictures that we had taken together.
My Father's day gift to him.

Dear Tom, I will always remember you racing your Ford at Seven Sisters and at Hamburger Junction.. you were grown and I was a kid. Later I married your brother Larry, Sr. Staying at your house and the visits were always fun. Your singing and guitar playing. The long-distance phone call you made to me...when you didn't like calling long distance. All the good advice you gave me. I know you will again be with Irene and Louise and will look to the day we all meet again in heaven. your sister-in-law, Sonia

My Dear Beloved Brother-In-Law. Still remember you and your racing your Ford at Seven Sisters and Hamburger Junction...long before I met your brother Larry. I always considered you my brother and loved your singing and guitar playing, your first "long distance call" to me and all the love and good advice you gave me. Will always keep you in my memories with love until we again meet in heaven.
