Momma, every time I try to write this I cry. I get 2000 spaces to write my words so here goes....birds,dogs,shelling peas, shucking corn in the sun,you stretching your neck to stick out your cheek for a bedtime kiss, all the while keeping your eyes on the pattern in your knitting instructions, coming home from school to a new baked good that you're just learning to make, touring all the Aunties gardens and flowers, admiring all the Uncles yard and house renos and other hard works and hobbies, visiting cousins, huge family gatherings,a line up of campers on holidays, running free at the lake, ordering from the Sears catalogue, clean sheets on Sundays, rubbing vicks on my chest when I coughed and pinning a wool sock around my sore throat, tucking me in,always keeping us warm, the sound of typing coming from the pantry, when dad would present you a new appliance to try and make your days easier, coming home from school to you painting the walls, creating a beautiful doily,or changing the furniture around...you always had this need for change inside your home.Well it seems that You have passed it all on... I "spic and span" my home every week for bible study and I am sure that my kids have this "on going joke" about what I've changed in color or which room I have completely switched around, or which wall the tv is on this week!Privately they'd try to guess but usually only one would be close and they would have a giggle on me.Your creating never ended. You did'nt go to school long but you were always trying to better yourself...learning new things every other month. You would be happy to know that I, my daughters, and grand children have the need to do the same...always learning new things and creating.Til this day I will never buy anything that I know I can make myself.I will continue to pass on your creativity, your recipes, your strength to stand up for your family first, your love of color,as well as all the many lessons that I've learned from You❣LOVE YOUR DAUGHTER SUSAN❣❣❣
