Caroline Werkman was born October 10, 1949, the 3rd daughter of Simon and Bertha Tuininga. She grew up in Neerlandia on the family farm. Carol and Peter left the farm and started an auction business which led them to many parts of Alberta on adventures together. We have only pleasant memories of sister-in-law Carol. It goes back many years as she boarded with us and shared many pleasant times with Martha Werkman. The two had always an enjoyable time and shared many good laughs.
Above all, we are thankful that she was firm in her faith in the Lord with whom she now enjoys life everlasting!
You have a wonderful comfort!
With cordial greetings to all,

Menno and JoAnne Werkman

My sincere condolences to my cousins and their families. It must have been very difficult to see your mom/grandma suffer so much during the last while, coupled with the fact that visitation was so limited due to the Coronavirus. I am thankful that God relieved her of her pain and suffering and called her to Himself in eternal glory. It was nice to be able to live-stream her funeral yesterday and once again hear the comfort and hope we have in Jesus Christ. I have many fond memories of Aunt Carol from my childhood, having spent a fair amount of time at your house. I will always remember her helpful and pleasant demeanour together with her smile and laugh. May God comfort and sustain you all, now, and moving forward without your loved one.

Pat and I are so very sorry for the family's loss...We do know though that Carol is celebrating her meeting with her Lord and Savior and her reunion with Peter.
We have many treasured memories of our time working for and with Carol and Peter. They were both an inspiration in both their walk with God and just as people.
