Sorry for your loss.  Your mom was a special and dear friend of my mom at the Hillcrest. She will miss her dearly.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Kuhn. She was always ready with a smile or a wave, she was the sweetest! Our mom will miss her at the Hillcrest, one of her dear friends. 

Louise and Bernie Schell We have lost great friend we shared many memory's over the years. We met many times some were sad some were with lost of fun. when we came to Edith place we sure  were served  a good meal. Sorry  for not being able to be at the funeral   but our prays are with you and all the family.

I don't know how to express my sorrow in writing in losing her, but have some good memories which she left for us. I always have to smile when when I remember her telling me years ago that Erna and her had to promise mother that they would look after  there baby brother and I think they did a very good job of it even though we were miles apart. She always welcomed us with a smile and a hug  when we came to visit with plenty food and drinks.  She used to     do some beautiful crafts which some were passed onto us and are very useful around the house.  So many memory's. You are now at peace with Herman, God bless you

I am so very sorry for your loss.  Your mom was the kindest soul and she smiled with her whole heart.  I loved spotting her across the dining room at Hillcrest --- she was always ready to receive a hug and share some kind words. I will miss her ❤️. 

We were really sad to hear about the passing of Aunt Edith. The entire time growing up I saw her as being a cheerful and happy person.  I appreciate that my children were able to meet her and get the same experiences (and got to spend time enjoying her garden)

Edith always made a point of saying hello to me and asking about Hillary and later Isaiah. She was alway so sweet and kind and I enjoyed talking to her every time.

Your Mom was one of the kindest people I have ever met . She was a good friend to Rudy’s Mom when she was in The Hillcrest and gave her a lot of support . Had the chance to visit with her the last few months as my Father had relocated to The Hillcrest . She was such a caring , positive person. She will be missed by many.

We are deeply saddened at the passing of Aunt Edith.  As my aunt and Godmother she has always held a special place in my heart.
Always generous, kind and caring she remained interested in my life and that of my family.  I fondly recall  all of the family times shared together over the years  and I am grateful for the many little visits  we had while she lived at Hillcrest.   I shall treasure all of these memories.  Aunt Edith will be sorely missed and she will always be lovingly remembered.  

You always hope that you will be able to visit someone one more time.  This is what I was hoping but it was not to be.  As others have said, Aunty Edith has always had a loving and caring nature.  I also remember when we visited her, she would have a big garden and lots of flowers but more importantly she had raspberries to pick which James, Alicia, Zamal and I enjoyed. Picking raspberries also connected me to Grandma Radke because in the summers, we would pick raspberries when we visited Grandma Radke.  I also remember the thoughtful  conversations about life, history and the future Zamal and I would have with Aunt Edith.  These conversations were insightful and grounded in the way she lived her life.  Aunty Edith was always hard-working and even though she was almost 90, she was still making Sauerkraut with Pam, Kay and me.

I am deeply saddened to learn Edith has passed away.  My sincerest condolences to the entire family.  Edith was one of the sweetest and nicest people I’ve ever known.  I truly enjoyed seeing and talking with her each time I visited the Hillcrest. I will miss her smile and kind words. 

Edith was a wonderful lady. She will be greatly missed.

I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Edith.  Wonderful memories from visiting the farm and then later in town!
I blame all my family from Alberta for my crazy love of horses & farm life
My only regret is that we didn't live closer so we could have visited more often. 
Loved & missed by all.
PS Wayne & I still make her cabbage roll recipe !!! 

Aunt Edith was so very special to us!  We celebrated all our birthdays together for many years.  I will always treasure the little things she made for me and our daughters and grandaughters!  When we visited her in the Hillcrest she would always have to show us what project she was working on for her family and what colour did I think was the nicest! Our hearts are broken that we were not able to see her for the last couple of months, but happy to have shared a few phone calls!  I wanted to share this picture taken last year at the Mother/Daughter banquet where she was nominated Mother of the Year!   Rest In Peace!
