Edward Carl Schultz

July 15, 1926 - December 7, 2016

With great sadness and heavy hearts the family of Edward Carl Schultz announces his passing on December 7, 2016 at the age of 90 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 3 years, Edna; his children Jeanette (Glen) Magneson, Doug (Gail) Schultz, Linda (Don) Adams, Lil (Brent) Gillanders, Andy (Liz) Schultz and Jody (Ben) Bowick; his 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; 4 sisters Pearl (Jack), Evelyn, Carol (Harry) and Judy (Mike). He also leaves to mourn his step children; Donald (Mary) Schulz, Rodney (Loretta) Schulz and Connie (Terry) Reid; his 8 step grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. Ed is predeceased by his loving and devoted wife, Lydia of 54 years, his parents, George and Victoria, 3 brothers; Art, Les and Len, 3 sisters Violet, Irene and Shirley. Our husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend will be deeply missed. His enthusiasm, dedication and love for family, friends, community and his church will always be cherished. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from St John's Lutheran Church, Barrhead. Interment will follow in the Lunnford Cemetery. Donations gratefully accepted to Barrhead Health Care Centre (Tree of Hope - Palliative Care) or St John’s Lutheran Church - Memorial Fund.
