Gisela Oswald

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gisela Oswald on January 3, 2018 at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

She is predeceased by her husband, Leonard Oswald, parents, Berthol and Gisela Proft, and brother Bert Proft. To share her memories Gisela leaves her children Anthony (Shelley) Oswald, Alan (Rosanne) Oswald, and Annette (Jeff) Lee; grandchildren, Gregory and Nathan Oswald, Aaron, Jordan, and Jared Lee, Madison and Samantha Oswald, great grandchildren, Logan and Tori Foley, and Garrett Oswald, brothers Harry (Carol) Proft, Fred (Jean) Proft, sisters Rose (Ron) Wittmeier, Adeline Warehime, Irene Yarham, and sisters-in-law Edie Proft and Andria Branden, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all the staff at the Keir Care for their kind attention and care to our Mom. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 10 at 11:00 am at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Prayer service will be Tuesday evening the 9th at 7:00pm at the church. Memorial donations maye be made to AHS Barrhead Continuing Care Center Carendo Shower chair project
