He also leaves his siblings; sisters; Rita(Dwight) Kellgren, Pauline(Wayne) Quintal, Hariette(Jay) McGeough, Lorraine(Gary) Westerlund and brother, Harvey(Brenda) Majeau, along with numerous nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Hector was predeceased by the love of his life, Bonnie, his parents Hector Sr. and Cecile as well as his brother Philip. Hector and Bonnie wed at a young age, started their family and raised them on the family farm. Dad worked many years as a pipeliner, worked at Ste Anne Gas , and also was a Crane and Hoisting equipment operator before retiring to the cabin at Lac La Nonne. Dad spent his lifetime in the Rich Valley/ Lac La Nonne area. Prior to moving to the Chateau in Onoway, he enjoyed traveling and spending winters socializing with family and friends in Arizona. When dad was home, he enjoyed tinkering and repairing things and would often spend his whole day working in the shop. Dad loved to shop if there was a tool or gadget he didn’t have whether he needed or not he would add it to his collection. Dad loved his country music and dancing. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, cooking. Most enjoyment came from family time with his siblings and their spouses sharing in many family gatherings with his favourite times being around a bonfire, sitting around the kitchen table or up on the dance floor. He loved and thought the world of his his grandchildren and was always interested in what they were doing he was very proud of them and wished nothing but the best for them. We love you and we will miss you. The family would like to thank the staff of the Chateau Lac Ste Anne in Onoway, and the nurses and staff of the Barrhead Heathcare Centre. My condolences to the Majeau family. ❤️ Sending you strength and hugs during your difficult time.
Hector was always a very welcoming man. He always made me feel comfortable while I was in his home. He would try to make me taste his “red eye” which I dislike to this day 😊
Also, I miss Bonnie‘s homemade bread.

My heartfelt condolences go out to you, Danny, Michele, Jackie, and Family. I know it's only natural in life to loose a parent, but it doesn't make it any easier. I have Many fond memories of ( uncle) Hector. When I was a child, and being out at the Rich Valley farm, it was Uncle Hector who first showed me how to ride a motorbike... It was a simple gesture, but it becomes a Cherished lifetime memory to one. ( uncle) Hector was the Epitome of what being a true genuine " Majeau" was.... "Welcome my Friend" Until we meet again
