James Herbert Manz

Mr. James Herbert Manz , late of Barrhead, AB, passed away on February 7, 2018 at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his loving family; wife of 48 years, Maxine; 4 children, Tammy (John), Tracey (Jill), Jamie (Sherry) & Bonnie (Harold); 10 grandchildren, Tristin (Frank), Kelsey (Morgan), Johnathan (Katia), Dana (John), Jenna (Tom), Chase, Stephen, Kirstin, Morgan, Riley; 3 great grandchildren, Jack, Ana & Blake; 2 brothers, David (Lorraine) Manz & Carl (Myrna) Manz. James is predeceased by his parents, Leonard & Doris Manz; Mother & Father in Law, Jimmy & Lexie Miller; 4 nephews; brother in law, Stewart Miller. Jim was a carpenter most of his life. He loved working for people and always kidded around and had a joke to tell. He always had on his stripe bibs, carpenter apron, hammer & a pencil behind his ear. Sometimes he even went to bed with the pencil still behind his ear. Memorial Luncheon will be held from 12 to 4 PM on Saturday March 3, 2018 from Barrhead Legion Hall, Barrhead, AB. Memorial Donations may be made to Barrhead Community Cancer Center, STARS or Charity of Choice.
