Skilled hair stylist to many, manager in business, and the matriarch to her family. Janet was a loving mother and grandmother, as well as a dear friend to so many. She was mischievously funny right up to her last day on earth. Janet died peacefully surrounded by her family.
Janet leaves behind her loving husband, Wilmer Thompson of 54 years; sons, Shane (Amanda) Thompson & Clinton (Debbie)Thompson; grandchildren, Mariah Lansing-Thompson, Cy Thompson & Sullivan Thompson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Janet was predeceased by her parents, Gus and Lottie Brade; siblings, Grace, Leon, Richard, and Gary.
The Funeral will be held at the Bethel Pentecostal Church, 5410 53 Ave, Barrhead Alberta at 11:00 am on Friday, December 22, 2023.
