I’m deeply saddened to hear of Johns passing. My late mother, Lucy Gould, and myself had work with him. He was always such a nice person to talk to and work with, always willing to help. My sincerest condolences to his family.

I have just learned of Johns passing and am in shock. I have known and worked with John for over 40 yrs. He was the best furniture repair man i have ever met bar none. He was a great manager, very well respected in any area he worked. He had some very interesting and funny stories to share with all who would listen. I have thought of him often in the few yrs i have been gone from The Brick. John is a man who will be missed by all,but never forgotten. Just heard the sad news. My memories of John are filled with summers and playing ball. He was a good coach and always willing to give me a lift home when I needed one. John was a really nice and friendly man. Funny, too. I am so sorry for all our loss.

John was always the man who took care of everyone he came across. Always talking about his family and how much they meant to him. His eyes would light up whenever he mentioned his grand kids. My condolences to a family who we know has been left with a giant hole. I hope the love he had for you in life comforts you in his loss and fills your homes and hearts with warmth.

John was a very humble man. Everyone who had the pleasure knowing would all say just how kind, generous and all around an upbeat person he was. I had the pleasure of knowing him when I started at the Brick customer call center. He was the guy we called for furniture advice and he knew alot!
I would enjoy our conversations about hunting, fishing and his cooking tips, especially cheese Bannock. John will be dearly missed.
My sincerest condolences to his family.
RIP Johnny!

I know it's cliche but there are no words to describe this loss.
John was such an amazing role model growing up. Always kind, welcoming, and standing for what was right.
You were so loved by so many and changed so many lives. You will be deeply missed.

First off, my dearest condolences to Johns family. I’ve had the pleasure of working with John at The Brick for a little over 6 years. We had many conversations about hunting and fishing. Even when I left the Brick and started working with Fire Protection I would still come into the warehouse a couple times a year and we would pick up our conversation where we last left it. I will never forget Johns Moose burgers every Christmas at our pot luck we did. He always spoke of his kids and grandkids. He was so loved and he loved so many people. I will never forget your smile or your chuckle. RIP John Pround I will have you in my heart and thoughts for ever.

I worked at The Brick Warehouse in Edmonton and knew John.
He was alway in great spirit. Always joking, laughing, and had kind words for everyone around him. He was always helping where he could. He was an outstanding manager for the area he worked in. John talked a bit about how he enjoyed hunting.
He will be missed.
Leaving this earth too soon.
He is now still around Family in Spirit.
RIP John. May your Spirit still comfort your wife, children, and other Family members still here on Earth.
Condolences to his family, friends, his community.
