Lydia (Myrtle) McCauley

Mrs. Lydia Myrtle McCauley, late of Barrhead, AB passed away on June 3, 2016 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her loving family; 6 children, John (Gloria) McCauley of Barrhead, AB, Shirley (Don) Campbell of Ponoka, AB, Ken (Tamara) McCauley of Evansburg, AB, Brenda (Garth) Cramer of Beaverlodge, AB, David (Deena) McCauley of Tofield, AB and Patsy (Dennis) Johansen of Barrhead, AB; 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Myrtle is predeceased by her husband, George Cardiff McCauley on December 29, 1996; parents, John & Bertha Volpel; brother, Robert Volpel.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 7-8 p.m. in the Rose Garden Chapel. Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Barrhead United Church. Interment to follow in the Barrhead Eastlawn Cemetery with Reverend David Pype officiating. Donations gratefully accepted directly to Alberta Cancer Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
