Penny - My heartfelt condolences to you and family on Mark’s passing.

I first met Mark when he moved to Barrhead and have many fond memories of his keen sense of humour, wonderful view of the world and ability to be strong and/or compassionate and caring. His character and integrity left a permanent mark on me.

Penny and family,

I was so saddened to hear of Mark's passing, my heart goes out to you!

I first met Mark when we worked at Imperial Lumber. Mark was my sawyer, and I ran the edger. We enjoyed many laughs over a beer at the end of a shift whether it was 12:00 in the evening, or 8:00 in the morning. So glad our friendship continued for all these years.

I wanted so bad to come to Marks "Celebration of Life", but unfortunately a family matter made it impossible to come.

Please accept my deepest sympathy

We grew up on the same street as the Calliou family in Hythe. I went to school with Vicky. As we got into our teen years, Mark was usually at the parties. My condolences to your family.

My condolences to Penny and all of Mark’s family. I’ve always respected Mark for his simple, straightforward sense of right, wrong and fair play. We spent our share of laughs, tears and youthful adventures together, and although we drifted away in recent years, we very much enjoyed our occasional long lunch visits. So sorry for your family’s loss, and I’m hoping you are comforted by Marks memory as a great inspiration and a Father.
