It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Viola Brand of Barrhead, AB formerly of Fort. Assiniboine, AB on November 15, 2012. Mary is survived by her 2 granddaughters and numerous other family and many dear friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, her partner, Lorne Rath, her daughter, grandson, and siblings. In accordance with Mary’s wishes, a formal funeral service will not be held. Memorial donations in Mary’s name are gratefully accepted to a charity of choice.
