Meghan Catherine Jackson

September 24, 1979 – February 8, 2016

With profound sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Meghan, our cherished daughter, sister, and mother, on Monday, February 8 at age 36 in Whitecourt. Meghan’s spirit will be forever remembered and deeply missed by her daughter Baylee Ochremchuk; parents Rick and Pat; brother Kyle; and nephew Colt. Meghan will be greatly missed by aunts and uncles: Barb Schultz; Maureen and Randy Teha; Mike and Cherie Jackson; Veronica and Brian Albrecht; John and Sylvia Jackson; Greg and Sharon Jackson; Margaret Penny; Rosemarie and Tim Schmidt; Cecilia O’Handley and numerous cousins and special friends. Meghan is predeceased by grandparents John and Jean Jackson, Alex and Mary MacNeil, and cousins Kyley-Jo Schultz and Olivia and Bobbie Jackson. While we struggle with this loss, we hold comfort knowing that Meghan is resting carefree and at peace with God.

The prayer service is on Friday, February 12 at 7:30 p.m. and the funeral mass is on Saturday, February 13 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, Barrhead. Father Johnny VC will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Meghan may be made to Canadian Mental Health c/o CMHA Alberta Division, 320 Ledgeview Business Centre, 9707 – 110 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5K 2L9.
