Mervin Lloyd Gammel passed away suddenly on April 16, 2026, Mervin will be deeply missed by his wife; Trudy, children; Amanda (Steven), Suzannah (Shaun), grandchildren; Hannah, Emma, Calder, Maryn, his mom; Shirley, brothers; Barry (Joyce), Ken (JoAnne), Raymond (Deb), sister-in-law Marilyn, sister-in-law Myra (Larry), brother-in-law Rodger, nieces & nephews; Kevin, Kristine, Jennifer, Melanie, Laurel, Stephen, Heather, Adam, Ryan, Shawn, Stephanie, Linsey, Jackson, Robert, Dennis. Mervin is predeceased by his father; Theodore, brothers; Wayne and Lawrence.

Mervin lived a life rooted in love- for his family, for the quiet beauty of nature, and for the animals he cared for so deeply. With a rich sense of humour, he brought warmth, laughter, and a gentle spirit to every moment, whether surrounded by those closest to him or finding peace outdoors. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him and will remain forever loved and remembered.
