A life well lived is a precious gift, of hope and strength and grace, from someone who has made our world a brighter better place.

It’s filled with moments, sweet and sad with smiles and sometimes tears with friendships formed and good times shared, and laughter through the years.

A life well lived is a legacy, of joy and pride and pleasure, a living lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure.

So sorry to hear of Gunnar’s passing, his ready smile will be missed. Gunnar and Betty were awesome friends, neighbours and landlord to my Mom and Dad. We enjoyed a lot of good times and card games with them. I personally enjoyed the babysitting money I earned watching the younger Kids. Gunnar was a great neighbour and came to our rescue a few times. Condolence to all his family.

Memories of spending time at the Lindquist home came flooding "back" as I learned of Gunnar's passing.

To the Lindquist "kids" and your families - your Dad/Grandpa was a sweet man and made everyone (including "us") feel so special when we were at your home.

A life well lived and well shared - you will have so many fond memories to cherish ALWAYS.

Our thoughts are with you all.

I have many fond memories of Gunnar while working for him and Leonard in the summer making silage. Prior to working for them I had spent hot summer days picking rocks/roots, building corrals, pitching hay bales or other jobs ...for a dollar an hour! You can imagine my happiness to work for Gunnar and Leonard driving a tractor shuttling silage from the field to the pit at $2 an hour.
Gunnar was one of the most cheerful people I knew. When he came to the store for groceries or the mail he always had a positive comment and a big smile. Our family truly enjoyed and respected him. His family will surely miss him but will also have many cherished memories. Please accept our sincere condolences.
