Peter Aikema

On August 24, 2022 at the age of 71, Peter Aikema was taken into glory by our faithful Saviour Jesus Christ. Peter leaves behind his beloved wife Margaret of 46 years; his five children, Kevin (Shari), Sue (Hendrik), Brad (Rebecca), Robert, and Dennis (Missy); as well as his 14 precious grandchildren whom he loved and adored, Averi, Cameron, Julia, Lily, Jonas, Spencer, Elayna, Chantel, Alyssa, Justin, Bentley, Audrey, Lindsey, and Dale.

Peter was predeceased by his parents Klaas (2006) and Anje (2016). He is also a loving brother to Gary (Corinne 2011), Joanne (Marten), Terri (Richard), Maggie (Peter), Matthew (1981), John (Yvonne), and Dorothy (1998). Also predeceased by his parents-in-law Jacob (2003) and Marrigje (2021). Brother-in-law to Allie (Brian), Ena (Robert), Dick (Alida), Danny (2022) (Wyn), Jack (Linda), Mabel (Peter), Eric (Juliette), Conrad (Dinah), Norman (Diane), Gordon (Debbie), and Peter (1962). He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service to take place at 11am on Wednesday August 31st in the Neerlandia Canadian Reformed Church, 4705-50 Avenue, Neerlandia, Alberta. All are welcome to attend.
