On March 6, 2017, Siegfried passed away at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Hilde Engler, 7 children; Irma (Oscar) of Barrhead, Martin (Marilyn) of Slave Lake, Mildred (Stan) of Barrhead, Helga (David) of Stony Plain, Richard (Charlene) of Edmonton, Garry (Dawn) of St. Albert, Randy (Stephanie) of Sylvan Lake, 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, 1 sister as well as numerous other family and many dear friends. Siegfried is predeceased by his parents, brother; Karl, sister; Krista.
A Service will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethel Pentecostal Church with Mal Wagner officiating. Interment will be in the Barrhead Community Cemetery at 10:30 am. Donations are gratefully accepted directly to The Gideons, PO Box 3619, Guelph, ON, N1H 7A2.
