He was a native Memphian.
Larry was baptized under the leadership of Pastor Charles Simmons at Elliston Baptist church as a child. He later became an active member of Clearview Baptist church, under the leadership of Dr. Cory Knepshield.
Larry was a supporter member of the church athletic programs as well as several children ministries.
He was an active participant in the planning and future build of the Gym / classroom addition for the church school program.
Larry has been a member of the Shiners of Memphis participating in the Clown group and children services that the Shiners are active in. Driving buses of child burn victims from Memphis to area burn units in the country.
Larry enjoyed riding his Harley and going to the lake with his family as well as fishing with his grand children at local area lakes. He enjoyed working with the children and all activities from cook outs, raising money for camp. The joy on the children’s faces filled his heart with such joy.
He owned his own plumbing company since the 1980’s that included new and remodel of commercial buildings as well as residential and commercial repair and service. His favorite thing was to tell people “his boss is a bad man”. 😊
Larry leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lisa Snyder, his mother Charlotte Kelly, his son Allen Snyder of Bartlett, Daughters Suzanne Fitzpatrick (Bryce Fitzpatrick) of Misawa Japan, Sabrina Warren of Bartlett, TN, two grandchildren, Kian and Teagan Fitzpatrick. He also leaves two sisters, Virginia Webb, Mary Wilbanks and two brothers, Michael Wilbanks and Richard Snyder. A host of aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews of the greater tri-state area.
