Aaron was born in Fulton, KY to Joseph E.and Edith Riley on October 6, 1937. He graduated from Catholic High School in Memphis, TN. Aaron was married to Lynda Joyner Riley, formally of Memphis,TN. He was a member of the Air National Guard and retired from Stroh’s Brewery where he worked in sales. Throughout his life, he admired fine cars and was a motor sports enthusiast. Aaron loved to spend his time in the garage working on old cars, on the race track with his buddies or with his beloved family.
Aaron is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lynda, sister, Velda (Roy) Meyer of Metropolis, IL, sons David (Donna) Riley of Murfreesboro, TN, Daniel (Heather) Riley of Cumming, GA and his cherished grandchildren, Caroline Riley, Will Riley and Blake Riley.
Family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Monday, August 6th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, August 7th at 10:00am. Burial will follow onsite at Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.
