Alfred M. Morton, 79, of Bartlett passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. He was a retired beauty supply salesman. Mr. Morton, the husband of Mary T. Morton for 56 years, also leaves his daughter, Carol Lea Morton of Memphis; a sister, Virginia Seward of Cordova; a brother, Don Morton of West Linn, Oregon; and an aunt who helped raise him, Rebecca T. Morton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond V. and Floy Morton and his siblings, Thomas Morton, Raymond Earl Morton and Juanita Bonnette. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, March 4 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. with visitation beginning at 12:30.
