Andrew Doane “A.D.” Moore, 83, of Southaven, MS. passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Mr. Moore had a love for motor sports, stock cars, race cars, and was an avid race fan. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Laverne Moore and their infant daughter, Delores Ann Moore. He was also preceded in death by four brothers: Oscar, Tommy, Charles, and Jack. Mr. Moore is survived by his two daughters: Gail (Bill) Howell of Lakeland, TN and Sheila (Tony) Dixon of Southaven, MS. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Tanya, Christina, and Evan Howell and Nathan and Natalie Dixon. He also leaves 2 great-granddaughters: Johnette and Breana McKinnon. A Celebration of Life Service will be held today, Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1pm at Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, TN. Visitation was held Thursday evening. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens.
