

Angela Pierce Fulghum, 67, of Cordova passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at Methodist Hospice House-Memphis. She was born January 14, 1948 in Steele, Missouri to Obie Martin and Nell Elizabeth Hall Pierce. Mrs. Fulghum was a retired administrative assistant with the Army Corps of Engineers where she received many awards, was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, attended Memphis State University and Arkansas State University. She was preceded in death by her son, Lewis Lester; brother, Lanier Hall Pierce; and is survived by her husband, Madison Fulghum; sons, Rex Lester of Olive Branch, MS and Chuck (Allison) Hoskins of Hillsboro, MO; mother, Nell Elizabeth Pierce of Bartlett, TN; step daughter, Pam (Doyle) Avant of Rossville, TN; step sons, David (Dianna) Fulghum of Mountain Home, AR and Robert (Tammy) Fulghum of Duluth, MN; siblings, Carrie Wimberley of Lakeland, TN, Carolyn Tullis of Pensacola, FL; and 12 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN.
