Annette was born on July 5, 1939, in Memphis, TN and attended Sacred Heart School. She worked a full-time job as a secretary for many years with Holiday Inn and then moved into an Office Management position at Memphis Funeral Home from where she later retired.
Annette was a beautiful and talented woman with a voice like an angel. She loved everyone she met and was always able to find the good in them. She was a hard worker and took great care of her children. Annette also played piano, guitar, and sang in a local band with her and her husband’s namesake—Buffaloe Band. The couple later retired from the live music scene and started an in-home recording studio, A&R Productions. She wrote and produced many songs. In addition to her passion for music, she loved animals, nature, and bird watching.
Annette was preceded in death by her husband, Roy S. Buffaloe. She is survived by her children, Barbara Watkins (Steve), Philip Caudell (Beth), and Regina Barnes, her stepson, Brady Buffaloe (Kerri), her grandchildren, Jeremy, Eric, Nathan, Karla, Ricky, Jason, Ashley, Maggie, and Gracie and her 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, US, on September 29, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, and the Committal Service from 3:00 pm to 3:15 pm.
