Ansel Lavoy Rogers, 78, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at his home. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, 196 Field Artillary and was retired from the Memphis Fire Department after 32 years of service. Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Johnnie; two daughters, Diane Dull and Delana Roberts; a son, Kevin Rogers; a sister, a brother, four grand-children, three great-grand-children, and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Rogers. Funeral services, with entombment to follow, will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, August 1 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N.
