It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Lee Nance Daniel age 77. Barbara was called home by her Lord on September 17, 2026 at Germantown Methodist Hospital. She fought a long battle with kidney failure and Alzheimer's. Barbara was born December 8, 1948 in Memphis, TN and was a life long Memphian. She graduated from Oakhaven High School.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Frances Smith Nance of Memphis, daughters Jessica Nance of Memphis and Heather Daniel of Marion, Arkansas, and a sister Sandra Gillespie of Eads, TN.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harry "Woody" Daniel of Memphis, son Nathan Adam Daniel of Memphis, Grandson Joshua Adam Daniel of Columbus, Ohio, sister-in-law Mary Daniel of Bartlett, TN, brother-in-law Jerry Daniel of Fayetteville, TN, 5 nephews, 5 nieces, and dear friends Ann and Charles Smith of Williston, TN.
Barbara was a baptized Baptist. She loved flowers and animals, especially dogs and Cardinals. Her body will be laid to rest Friday September 25, 2026 at Memphis Funeral Home on N Germantown Parkway with Pastor Nicholas Daniel handling the services.
Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, US, on September 25, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

A Committal Service will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, US, on September 25, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:15 pm.
