Barbara Bell-Edwards, 78, went home to be with the Lord on March 27, 2026. Born on November 27, 1947, she was the sixth of seven children to Escar Carl and Lillian Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers (Donald, Eddie, Aubry), 1 sister (Dorothy), and 2 husbands (Mac, Arnold Sr). She is survived by one brother (Charlie), 1 sister (Sandra), 2 sons (Terry Sr, Arnold), 1 daughter (Tammy), 9 grandchildren (Terry, Brittany, Connor, Chloe, Mark, Aiden, Blake, Wesley, Emily), and 4 great grandchildren (Ava, Stella, Mya, Parker).
She was a loving and caring soul. She contributed to several charities to help those less fortunate than herself. She devoted many years of service caring for and educating children at the daycare and nursery of Christ United Methodist Church. She loved her family beyond compare and relished in the joy of spending time with them. Especially when playing her favorite games like Skip-Bo, Rummy, Yahtzee and Uno.
A graveside service will be held at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 3, 2026.
