A loving wife, mother, and homemaker most of her life. Betty later became a realtor in Memphis, Tennessee. Betty was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. During her lifetime she enjoyed reading, exercising, volleyball, creative writing, travel and playing cards. Betty was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Lakeland, TN.
Betty was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Adron Everett Tucker. She was also predeceased by her son Thomas D. Tucker and son-in-law Robert E. Luna, and three sisters, Cleo Garcia, Juanita Riles and her twin, Beverly Sisnerose. Betty is survived by her daughter Barbara Luna, son Todd D. and wife Lori Tucker. She is also survived by four beloved grandchildren, Torian (Tori) Luna Petite and husband Jason, Adrienne Luna, M. Trey and wife Kari Shoopman Tucker and Taylor Tucker Hammami and husband Monty. She had five precious great-grandchildren, Houston Haake, Peyton, Palmer and Presley Petite and Tessa Tucker.
In 2018 Betty moved from her Lakeland home to Olathe Kansas to live with her daughter Barbara. She died peacefully at home with her daughter holding her hand as she took her last breaths. Her last thoughts and words were about her love for God and family.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, February 24, 2020, visitation at 1:00 PM, followed by her funeral service at 2:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133
