Dear Kyle & Peter,
Our hearts are with you as you mourn the loss of your dear mother. We have such fond memories of your parents . . . our Mountain Terrace days together, their support for our ministry in missions, and their visit to us on Bonaire. They were both unique and wonderful people and so proud of their sons! 
We pray that each of you will experience the Lord's comfort and peace today and in the days ahead.

Thank you Bootsie (and Pete) for being the best role models and mentors for so many young people over the years.

Growing up in the 1950's and '60's in Frayser and in the Mountain Terrace Baptist community was special because of you and your faithful service.     As Training Union leaders and neighbors you influenced so many lives in special ways.     Who can forget all the midnight bowling trips and socials in your home?     You faithfully gave of your time and talents, which were many.       

You will be missed, but you leave behind so many great childhood and teenage years memories for so many who knew and loved you.      Your influence and support cannot be measured.     With much love, Tommy and Patsy Smith

What a night last night but am guessing you know this, honestly I'm not really sure what you see or don't see once you go to heaven, never been there. 
So many of your friends showed up for the visitation, getting to see so many of our friends and family, the hugging and sharing of stories brought back so many good memories. 
We all know you are much better off, no cane, no pain, clear hearing and daddy by you side.
But it does not make missing you any easier, am selfish and would like to be able to get some hugs, kisses and keep on texting. 
I love you, Peter Boy.

Bettye was the most wonderful and thoughtful friend you could ever have!  I worked with her at FedEx, as we met in 1985.  We kept in touch through the years, and always celebrated holidays and birthday lunches.  I will miss her dearly.

This is Christmas morning.  The Chunns would always go across the street to the Sanders.  Even after we moved, we would still go.  So very thankful for that friendship.  Ms Bootsie  (and Mr Pete) were always there for us-graduations, weddings, my dad’s hospital stays.  I know we weren’t the only ones but she made us feel special.  She was a blessing to me and I’ll miss her but thankful that she is at peace.  She kept the faith and I know has heard, “Well done, good and faithful servant.  Enter your rest.”
