James William “Billy” Austin, Jr. 42, of Memphis, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He was a business owner, member of Elliston Baptist Church, a graduate of Germantown High School and enjoyed NASCAR. Mr. Austin is survived by his children, Ashlee Austin, Savannah Austin and Will Austin; sister, Amber (Tim) Pomp; parents, Bill and Sandy Austin; and his grandmother, Evelyn Greene Woode. He was preceded in death by his other grandparents, Harry and Betty Austin and Cecil Greene. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 9 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to Elliston Baptist Church.
