Born on August 15, 1945, in Memphis, Tennessee, Mike was the youngest of three children born to the late Billy Jack and Ethel V. Brasell.
He graduated from Treadwell High School and worked for the CSX Railroad from 1965 until he retired.
Mike is survived by his wife of 55 years Rugenia Brasell; his sisters Sue Collins of Missouri and Jan Tatum of Bartlett; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Brasell would like any donations made in her husband Mike's honor be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
