Bruce David Allen, 61, of Memphis, TN passed away December 28 at Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. Bruce was an employee of Johnson Bryce for 25 years after serving in the Army for 4 years. Bruce enjoyed woodworking, fixing things, and loved his job. He loved his family, friends, and his precious dogs Tucker and Beau. Bruce is happy to be reunited with his parents, Edward and Sarah Allen, and his brother, Steven. He leaves his loving wife, Teresa; sons, Jason Allen and Steven Allen; sister, Sondra Newsom (Bill); and special nieces and nephews, Adam and Julie Rodriguez, Mandy, Paxton, and McKenzie Craig, and Ginny Barnett. There will be a funeral service at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Rd, on Wednesday, December 31 at 10am. The family will receive friends for a visitation starting at 9am. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
