Carl E. Chambers, 79, passed away at his home on Monday, July 13th, 2015. Born November 23, 1935, Carl was preceded in death by his wife Dora May Chambers, brother James Chambers, sister Dorothy Givens, and parents Nannie Sisco and Marcus Chambers. He is survived by his daughter, Mirika Sumers, son-in-law Brad Lane of Memphis, TN and grandchildren Tristan and Brenna Lane of Memphis, TN and countless other dear friends and family. His constant humor will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, from noon until 2pm with a funeral service beginning at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The interment will immediately follow.
