Carol Jean Boles

She was born in Shelby County, TN to the late Joseph Daniel and Bertha Ann Boles. She was a beautiful soul who was grateful for anything and everything done for her and given to her. She was known for being simple and modest.

She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and even her neighborhood children, and is fondly remembered for helping shape and raise them.

Carol spent her time doing puzzles and crosswords. She loved her coffee; and was a phenomenal cook. Holidays were always so special because she loved Christmas movies and Hallmark channel.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Boles is preceded in death by her son, Harold Smith III, and granddaughter, Virginia Smith.

Carol is survived by her sons, John Smith, Cecil Smith, and Joseph Smith; grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Kristen Smith, Brett Smith, Brittini Flatt, Joshua Smith, Johnny Smith, Sevanah Smith, Dalton Smith, Gabriel Smith, Mason Smith, Jason Smith, Kodie Smith, Ashley Null, April Null and Amber Moore; great-grandchildren, Corrine Demers, Penelope Demers, Isabella Smith, Annabella Hurtig, Austin McMillian, Michael Smith, Jersey Johnson, River Smith, and Reign Flatt.

A visitation for Carol will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 5:00 PM at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 2:00 PM, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 3:00 PM at External Service Location, 3700 N Germantown Parkway, Memphis, Tennessee
