In her life, Carol was many things. She was a woman of God, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. A skill and calling that demonstrated Carol’s most precious traits: her empathy and compassion for others. However Carol’s most valued titles were that of Wife and Mother.
Carol married the love of her life, Norman Dale Hastings, while he was stationed overseas in Holland. There they lived out their newlywed years. Shortly after returning stateside they welcomed their first of three daughters.
