It saddens me to learn more about my fellow classmates at their death than I knew about them in life. I remember always thinking how attractive Carole was in high school and how kind and happy she seemed. I know she will be greatly missed.  I will pray for comfort for your family. How sad we are at the loss of this wonderful person. Carole and Bob have been our next door neighbors for over 10 years. We had many chats over the fence about our families and life issues. We will miss her terribly but consider ourselves lucky to have had her in our lives. Carole, Murphy will miss his "buddy". Our sympathy goes out to all of the family. We are just across the driveway if you need anything.

My son has gone to speech with Mrs. Carole for the past two years.  I am so sad & still in shock that we won't be walking into her office next week & hearing her sweet voice saying to my son, "Hi-ya, Chase. How ya doing?" 

It was obvious, based on all the stories she told us about the farm, or Maxx's dancing, or the pictures of her & her husband on vacation that she LOVED her family to the moon & back!  It was also obvious, based on how excited my son was to go to speech each week & hearing their sweet giggles through the door, that she loved her "speech kids" as well!

She was an AMAZING woman who will be irreplaceable!

I am so sorry to hear the news about Carole.  I'm sending huge hugs to all of the family. When I worked for Susie at Wolfchase it was always a delight to see how Carole would reward her children with a tour of the animals in the clinic that day.  She really was a great lady.  My sympathies to the entire family.

Dear Susie:  I was so sorry to hear the news of your sister Carole.  She was a gifted and loving person who touched the lives of so many families in need through her chosen career.  Please know that you and your family  are in our thoughts and prayers, and we are here anytime that you needs us.

Mrs. Carole was the Speech Pathologist for my 4-years-old son Kevin. Every Tuesday he was so excited to go and see her. He loved playing with her Ninja Turtles and Spiderman. Mrs. Carole was so sweet and caring. She was very proud of her son Maxx, always talking about him. She will always be in a special place in our hearts. We are so grateful how much she loved and helped Kevin. May God bless you all.

Susie you know how much Jim and I love your entire family. We loved watching Carole bring the children over to see and talk to the animals.  What a brilliant teacher she was not only to her own son Maxx but to many other children.  We will miss this member of your family but will never stop talking about how wonderful she was. I knew Carole in high school and always thought she was so pretty.  I lost touch after high school but remember her well.  I am sure that she will missed and our prayers go out to her family.

I can not  believe I am writting this.  With all of the good times at your house through out middle and high school, where do I start.  I was blessed to know Carol and with her came your whole family, that I love dearly.  Carol made her mark on everyone she met and was loved by many.  Thank you for sharing her with me over the years.  I know God will be with you all during this said time, and he will give you strength to go forward.  Dad, remembering the wonderful white beans and ham dinners.  I love you all, and I am thinking of you continually.

Susie, I was so very sorry to hear of your sister's passing.  I only knew her from knowing you, but always thought she was such a lovely person.  You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our family is truly shocked and deeply sadden by the sudden passing of Ms. Carole.  She was a ray of sunshine and hope every time we saw her and she was truly one of a kind, a Great Lady. Our daughter, Cassie loved her time each week with Ms. Carole learning and “spraying the plants” and was looking forward to hearing about her trip and it was truly one of the hardest moments of my life to tell her. Though we wish she could still be here with us, we know Ms. Carole will be watching all of her little angels from up above whispering words of encouragement to them each day. She liked thinking of Ms. Carole as her own personal “voice angel”, and that was what she truly was and will always be to us. We felt Ms. Carole truly treated our daughter as one of her own and took great pride in all of her achievements along with us every time she reached a new goal.  She gave our daughter a voice when she did not have one and she helped our family grow and learn how to help her each day use that voice. Our lives are forever changed by Ms. Carole and her talents. We are eternally grateful for all she has done for us. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Taylor and Reed families during this time of great loss. Nothing we can say or do can make this easier, but know our hearts are breaking along with yours and with all of the current and past students who Ms. Carole has touched. I met Mrs. Carole by chance.  I was given her name when I was looking for a speech therapist for my son.   (17 years ago) She was so compassionate about her work.  She always made you feel like your child was the most important person.  She cared not only about your child but  about the family of the child.  My son believed that she was his friend.  He called her "my Carole " .  Our thoughts and prayers are with the Taylor and Reed families through this difficult time.  We have lost an angel on earth.   Let's celebrate the beautiful person the Mrs. Carole has always been to everyone who knew her.

C - Caring – Always caring for our kids and treating them as her own.

A - Artsy – Always bringing art work into her therapy with our kids making them so proud of 
their accomplishment of their art project.

R - Radiant – Always glowing and smiling when working with our kids.

O - Optimistic – Always optimistic and NEVER giving up on our kids.

L - Laughter – Always laughing with our kids.  A child's laughter is the best sound.

E - Eternal – We will always be eternally grateful for her helping our children and never  
   giving up on them.             

Ms. Carole meant the world to my son, Nicholas (8 years old).  He had speech every Wednesday afternoon with her and always got excited Tuesday night because he'd get to see Ms. Carole.  He loved her so much.  He was talking about Ms. Carole not too long ago and getting upset because he never wanted to stop seeing her once he no longer required her help.  I always told him that she'd be a part of his life and we would always visit her when the time came for him to no longer need her help. 

When I had to tell him the news of her passing he took it pretty well and was more upset for her son Max.  Ms. Carole loved talking to my son about Max and everything he did from auditioning for “So you think you can Dance” to finally making it on Broadway playing Spiderman.  Nicholas loved hearing about Max and all his accomplishments and so did we.

We will miss Ms. Carole, but we know she will always be watching all over our kids and her son Max.

Mrs. Carole was indeed loved by her students.  My daughter, Katie, always enjoyed their time together.  She cried when I told her of Mrs. Carole's passing, and I cried with her.  Our family greatly appreciates the love Mrs. Carole gave and her outstanding work that helped people so much.

I remember when we were in high school Carole would go down to the elementary school and work with special needs children.  She taught one child to tie his shoe and his Mom was amazed at how she was able to do this.  From then on she dedicated most of her life to working with special needs and other children with speech difficulties.  She was tireless in her effort to help many children and mine included.  She was so loved and will be missed more than words can describe.

Carole was such a sweet lady,we met Carole 10yrs ago when my first son started speech.my 5yr old was currently attending speech w/her and he adored her so much,he always asked me every tues if he sees ms.tarole,as he called her,he loved her so much.Last tues he gave her a big hug after speech cause he was gonna miss her.she was so kind and caring,we sure will miss her,praying for the family.

Carole will be missed by many. I remember her in school and got to  know her even more when she came to our high school reunions. She loved her son so very much and was so proud of what he had become. Her memory will live on in his work because of the wonderful mother she was . Heaven has another angel and one day we all hope to meet again with all who have gone before us.

Carol will be missed by many.I am so glad I was able to see her at our 35th and 40th KHS Reunion and many other occasions. Rest in Peace dear friend.

I was so shy in high school. I am sure that many people though I was "stuck up". Carol was so friendly and genuine. I remember how warm and sweet she was. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. She was the example of what beauty means.

Carole was such a warm and sweet person.  She was so helpful this past spring when her Uncle Bruce and cousin Kevin came to visit their Tennessee family.  I know her family will miss her deeply.  Her kindness will never be forgotten.  You all have our love and sympathy.
