Charles Maury Franks, 69, of Arlington, TN, passed away December 21, 2011 at Methodist North Hospital. He was a member of Christ Church in Bartlett and was a U. S. Army veteran. Mr. Franks spent his career in warehousing and transportation until his retirement in 2003. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda S. Franks, son, Charles Perry Franks and daughter-in-law, Gail, of Byhalia and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. L. "Dub" and Verble Franks, his brother, Billy Wayne Franks and his grandparents, William Luther and Elizabeth Dickerson Franks. The family will receive friends Friday, December 23, at 1 p.m. with the service to follow at 2 p.m., all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Bartlett, TN.
