Charles B. Hunter, 81, of Lakeland, TN passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital-Bartlett. He was retired from Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories, a member of First Baptist Church-Hickory Withe and loved to fish. Mr. Hunter loved his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jean Hunter; daughter, Cathy Hunter Banks (Hal) of Collierville, TN; sons, Charles Wayne Hunter of Lakeland, TN and Kerry Neal Hunter of Fisherville, TN; grandchildren, Hallie Finney (Michael), Bryan Banks, Caitlin Banks, Stephanie Sheffield and five great-grandchildren. A gathering of friends and family will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday March 7 at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett TN 38133 with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. The family requests memorials be sent to First Baptist Church-Hickory Withe, TN.
