Charlotte Hester, 67, lost her battle with cancer on March 20, 2017. Everyone that knew her would agree she loved her family, the outdoors, staying busy, and spoiling her daughter, Stephanie and her grandson Zachary, every chance she got. She was married to her childhood sweetheart, Steve, for 48 years. Their love and respect for each other was evident, but especially in the time of sickness and in health. We will miss her generosity, her outspokenness, and everything that made Charlotte, Charlotte! She was preceded in death by her father and her mother, Travis and Inez Hampton., her sister Carolyn Hardcastle, and her brother, Gary Hampton. She leaves her husband, Steve Hester, her daughter, Stephanie (John) Kemp, her grandson Zachary Kemp, her brother Jimmy (Linda) Hampton, and her sister Julie (Joe) Murphy, and many other loving family members she loved and adored.
The family will receive friends from 1pm until service time at 2pm, on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133.
