Cheryl Marie Yancey

Cheryl Marie Yancey, age 78, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026. Cheryl was born June 10, 1948 in Elmhurst, IL. She was a member of Christ Church Bartlett. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana, and friend to so many. She was an avid doll collector and stamp collector. In her free time she loved to work on crafts such as scrapbooking, card making and decorations for family and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Stewart Johnson and Eva Winter, brother Bruce Johnson and sister Deborah Patterson. She is survived by her husband James Yancey of Bartlett, three children Kathy(Scottie) of Bartlett; Billy(Christy) of Germantown; Bonnie of Bartlett; eight grandchildren Blake, Lauren, Chelsee, Justin, Chase, Adley, Samantha and Cole; eight great grandchildren Leo, Van, Halston(on the way), Izzy, Troy, Charlotte, Vivian and McKenzie; along with many nieces and nephews.

The graveside services will be from 2-2:30 for family and friends. Upon entering the cemetery, red arrows will lead you to her internment site. The family will have a celebration of life following the service at a location that will be announced after the service.
