Cindy Rickert, age 61, passed away on September 8th in Memphis. Born in 1963 in Bogotá, Colombia, Cindy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who brightened the lives of everyone she met. She worked professionally at Rivercrest Elementary, where she was known for her warmth and dedication to the students and staff.
Cindy was a tireless volunteer and a selfless servant to her community, always offering her time and energy to those in need. Her passion for helping others was evident in every aspect of her life, and she inspired many with her unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. She was also a devoted fan of the New York Yankees, proudly cheering for her favorite team through every season.
She is survived by her three sons, Cody Rickert, Justin Rickert, and Jacob Rickert; her granddaughter, Harlow; and her two brothers, Mike James and Steve James. She also leaves behind her cherished dog, Nicki. Cindy was predeceased by her loving husband, Mike Rickert.
