Clifton Durrett Taylor, Jr., 57, of Cordova passed away March 23, 2010. Clifton was a member of Christ the Rock Church and was employed with Infiniti of Memphis. He was a graduate of Southside High School, where he ran track and played football. He continued his love of tack and football at Memphis State University, where in his senior year he was drafted by the NFL to the Chicago Bears. He then played for the Green Bay Packers. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Taylor, Sr. Clifton is survived by his wife of 13 years, Jeri Taylor; mother Mahala Lowe Taylor; daughter Vonia McChriston; son; Clifton Taylor, III; brothers Melvin Taylor, Everett Taylor and four grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 12 noon on Monday, March 29 at Christ the Rock Church, 8800 Winchester, Memphis, TN 38125. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to be made to the American Cancer Society.
