So I am going through photos and came across this one! Look at that cute little cat! We miss you so much Conner. I wonder what you would be doing now if you were still with us? I wonder what you are doing in heaven and if you came across any of our old pets? We all look forward to the day we will see you again!

I am so late to get your seeds in the ground this year but I do enjoying watching them on my window seal.  They remind me of you and how much love you put into your garden. I know you’ve got a whole farm stead in heaven you’re tending to these days, I will try to take care of your late bloomer tomatoes down here ❤️

Conner was a great man, friend, brother, son and all around a beautiful human with a beautiful, compassionate soul. We didn't talk much in the past couple years, but I will always remember and hold on to the memories we made in middle school and high school. He was always there to listen if I had something to talk about. He was also there when I sometimes couldn't find the words. He would listen and empathize seemingly effortlessly  with any one because he understands what it is like to be and feel alone. He understood how precious life was and how important we are even though we are so small in the scheme of things. I believe in a Divine, higher power, something bigger than us. I know there was a reason Conner was on this earth and that is how I am beginning to make peace with the fact that there was a reason he was taken away from the ones who love him the most. 
I will always keep him in my mind and memory when I am faced with a challenge in my life. He inspires me to be the best version of myself I can be. I will definitely never forget who he was while he was here. His energy will forever exist in his family and his old home and every where he went and in every soul he reached while he was on our beautiful but cruel planet.  
Conner taught me and many others-but perhaps I should only speak for myself-how to be virtuous despite adversity. To persist even when you feel all is out of your control. 
Conner was patient. Conner was kind.
Conner was humble, he did not boast.
Conner was not envious, he was grateful.
Conner was honorable and he acted selflessly. 
Conner recognized the evils in this word, but he rejoiced with the truth, the good in this dark world. 
Conner was a protector, someone you could trust, with ease.
Conner failed, just like we all do, but that never stopped him from dusting himself off and persevering. 
I know he is at peace wherever his soul exists now, because he found peace within himself during his time.
His love will radiate eternally. 

Conner was a wonderful young man.  I got to see him grow from a funny little boy to an inspiring young man during his middle school years. When I would see him in the halls at school, he always had a mischievous grin like, "Aa' ha you have no idea what I just got away with!"  He was a good student and always ready to help when asked.   I am so sadden that his promising young life has been cut short.   My sincere sympathy and love goes to his wonderful family - they were all truly a highlight of my time as principal of Cordova  Middle School.  May Conner rest peacefully in the Love of Christ. It has been a really long time, Conner. My birthday is coming up in a few days, and just out of curiosity, I wanted to see how my old friends from elementary school were doing, but then I saw an obituary dedicated to you. Man, for some reason I'm filled with regret, not being able to tell you how awesome and cool you were to me back then, how our taste in music was the same and made me felt relieved that I wasn't the only one. I still remember when you first showed me one of Green Day's songs back then, and they had been my favorite band for the longest time. 

But there is one thing I will never forget about you. Moving from the Philippines to the US was kinda scary all on its own, but meeting you and having you as a friend really made me feel like I was finally home. Your kindness that you showed me really helped me, even when I was in a rough spot a couple of times. My memories from back then are hazy, but I will always remember the kindness you shared, rest easy man.

Although we didn’t get to know Conner very well, sadly, it’s easy to see from reading what everyone else had to say about him, that he was a remarkable young man who touched the hearts of all those he encountered. No words can describe the sadness and grief that we feel that he left us so soon and for the great loss it is to our family and to all that knew him. Our hearts ache for you, especially. We hope and pray you find some comfort in all these loving memories of Conner.

Conner was a quiet, soft spoken young man. His demeanor was always pleasant and respectful.  He was always ready to lend assistance in the neighborhood when needed.  It is said that the Greeks did not write obituaries, but instead, ask only one question:
Did he have passion?  Conner did have passion for good health and fitness.  He was loyal to his family, work & commitments.  Blessings to all who loved him deeply.  He is missed.

I am lucky enough to have shared many memories with Conner, along with the rest of our friend group, from elementary through high school. So many memories that the details seem to escape me when I try to single one out. In my mind, it’s a haze of “Whose mom can drop us off and whose can pick us up?” And “Let’s just walk to the movies and get Sheridans”.  What will never escape me though, is how kind of a soul Conner was. Always concerned with the well-being of others and always willing to help. A great friend above all else. I think I speak for all of our friends when I say we love and miss him so much, and will never forget our days of middle school mischief. 

I have very fond memories with Conner during Thanksgiving several years ago. It was a chance for me to get to know him, and it confirmed how genuine, authentic, and kind he was, which runs in the family. I am incredibly impacted by his sending, and will hold his memory in my heart at all times. We had more memories to make. I feel deeply for his immediate family, and our entire family right now, and wish we weren't apart.

I want to share two things. My kids still play with a giant teddy bear that Conner and Susan gave me that Thanksgiving. Recently, they've been hugging it even more tightly. I like to think of that as a connection to Conner right now.

Second, I shared "If" by Rudyard Kipling with the healthcare heroes I work with. Conner continues to inspire our first responders.

Our family has had a terrible loss, an unbelievable and unspeakable collective heartache.  We hurt mostly for Curt and Susan and Jake, and Ted and Char and Jason, experiencing this tremendous tragedy, and then for ourselves too, because now we know our family feels incomplete, from this time forward.

Our Grandson, Conner, was so many kinds of wonderful. He was kind, considerate, sensitive and caring. I wanted to share a special memory but I can't do that because every memory I have is so special. 
He was handsome as a movie star with the bluest eyes I have ever seen - Icy Blue beautiful eyes.  Everyone commented on his eyes.

Conner had to take a different path at the fork in the road. We must continue on the path, broken hearted and sad. 

We hope and pray that, In time, we will meet once more when it is our turn to take the other path at the fork in the road. 

At this moment, We are shattered, but our love for you is as strong as ever.

Conner lived across the street from me and i met him and his family when Conner was very young.   I appreciated how nice and calm Conner was at our house.  When older Conner did some yard work for us and always did a great job.  He was always very courteous and kind to us.  He did things for us when we would be out of town and many nice things while we were here.  I always love seeing his smile.  We could always count on Conner, as well as his whole family to grant us a blessing in our lives.  
Conner was often seen outside working at his home by doing the yard and helping at home.  I miss Conner and am so glad to have known him.  May he rest in peace.

Whenever I think of you I remember your kindness and smile. My most vivid memory of you is when we were at a family dinner at a restaurant and someone read a funny card Jake wrote, you laughed so hard. You were fun-loving and incredibly thoughtful. 

Reading the stories and learning about all the amazing accomplishments you have achieved- we are humbled, inspired and want to thank you for making this world a better place.  We will always love you and honor you wherever we go.

I remember seeing Connor at a family gathering when he was maybe 15 and I was a round the same. This was before he had gotten into body building and bulking up. He was healthy and handsome for sure, even then. But it was barely even two years later when I saw him again and my jaw hit the ground! There standing a few inches taller than me was this hunk of a man. Handsome, confident, full of humor and still so full of kindness. Connor had bloomed into a man of meekness and a quiet wisdom you could tell ran deep into his soul. That is the Connor that will live on forever in my mind and who, for all of eternity, will be with his Heavenly Father.

Dear Conner,

I'm not the greatest at capturing memories in photos but I will always remember the moments we shared. When I close my eyes I can feel your hugs, I can hear your laughter and I can see your smile. My favorite memory is of you, brand new uncle, cradling Waylynn with all the love overflowing in your uncle heart. It was one moment out of so many others, but my heart goes there first.

There are so many other moments of your incredible life that I'm learning about through the stories shared by family and friends who love you. When I close my eyes I can see you in every scenario, and I can feel the way you touched so many lives and filled all our hearts with so much love.

We will all share memories of our time with you and you will be right here with us in every tale of adventure, gestures of kindness, acts of love, wit and humor, compassion, devotion, and all things Conner. Even though I have been living far away in Japan for a very long time, I was blessed to have shared time with you.  I remember your smile, your good nature, and I know how much we all loved you.  I recall the joy and laughter you gave to your great grandmother.   Your time with us was far too short, and it is so difficult to understand His will.   I don’t know that we can.   I will pray for His grace to be renewed everyday upon your loving parents, your brother and his family.   You will be sorely missed by your family in Japan.

Hi Conner,  It’s me again. I just wanted to share a funny memory … from when my dad and I took you, Hope and Madi to see an IMAX 3-D movie at the Luxor. 

You guys were LEVEL 10+HYPERactive. From the moment we walked into the theatre (in a pyramid, of course) you guys were screaming and continued to scream during the whole movie like it was a roller coaster ride!! Afterwards, you ran all around the arcade and we ate at McDs and you guys continued to laugh at every little thing - and not just giggles, but the kind of laughing where you can’t even talk… especially when you were convinced you had found a weird mutant chicken mcnugget and made Madi and Hope scream. You always made us laugh....

I remember on the way back, taking pics of you three amigos in the backseat making faces, telling jokes. And while you guys were really giving me a headache, it will always be a memory I will cherish of pure happiness and family love. 

Thank you so much for blessing our lives and giving us so many memories to laugh and smile about. I hope you know how much I love  you and how proud I am of you, Aunty Joy

Conner!  I really was looking forward to seeing you again and forcing you to play Animal Crossing with me! I’m sure after one week, you would have a 5 star Island rating…bc that’s how awesome you are. I'll always remember us talking about Fallout and how you started playing it a month after me. After a week, you had leveled up to the best most epic weapon you could ever have.. while I was nowhere near that level. You were so cool about it and acted like it was nbd that you were almost done with ALL the quests and most of the DLC too! You seriously rule. I will never forget your sense of humor and your smile! And will always remember stories your mom would tell me about you - growing up, when we would email about parenting (i would vent to your mom!) I would tell her she was lucky to have boys, and she would always have some funny story about you and Jake and assure me that boys are just as tough to raise as girls. I always take her advice bc she did such an amazing job raising you and Jake.  

Thank you so much for being a part of Madi’s life too. Especially during my divorce, you probably never knew these things, but being an only child… you and Hope were the closest she had to siblings. I will always remember you 3 being so crazy together- inseparable in the summer.  And I thank you for helping to fill the loneliness she felt in her heart during those times. 

I made a special Conner area for you in my video game. Every day I can check on your flowers, pull the weeds, pick up twigs and chop wood to make some crafts. Your place is next to my islands campsite, in a very beautiful area on the beach, where you can watch the shooting stars. I want to make a full outdoor gym too once I get enough supplies. Since I can’t see you, I will visit you in my game… and maybe I can convince your parents to start gaming so they can visit too! I will always love you, Conner and will miss you so much, Aunty Joy

Many of my favorite moments from my childhood were spent with Connor. I remember always looking forward to visiting with him and Hope because, being an only child, my cousins are basically siblings to me. Getting to grow up alongside Connor was nothing short of a blessing, and he grew up to be one of the most caring and hardworking people I know. Connor, we all miss you dearly, and I will forever cherish all the memories we have together. Rest easy ❤️.

Thank you for your 22 years of love and for always being such a caring, thoughtful person.  You touched our lives in so many different ways.  Thanks to your mom's amazing photo chronicles, we watched you grow to be a handsome young man.  It was awesome to join you in celebrating your graduation.  What a fantastic party that was!  You made all of us so  proud! 

I hear your voice everyday, several times a day, reminding me to "Drink your water, Aunty !"  Thanks for all your love and concern about me staying healthy.  Now that you can see us all, I will be even more convicted to DRINK MY WATER! 

Conner, in everything you did, you made an impression.  I thank you for your advice about a number of things...You have left your mark on our lives and for that we are grateful.  Your dreams and all your hopes have been planted in so many hearts and though that chapter of your life is through , we will always hold you in our hearts forever.

Conner was a good man.  I remember when Conner and I used to play games together.   It was fun!  When he did workouts and stuff, it motivated me to do pull ups and he is the reason why I do pull ups and got so strong.   Although I don't remember a lot of things,  I only remember all the  good times with him.   Going jet skiing in Laughlin was one of the good times.   I will miss your visits, Conner.

Ever since we were little, I remember always looking up to you and being so excited when I heard that you and Aunty were coming into town. We'd play and hang out for hours at a time, and looking back, I can't believe how patient you were with me!! We'd send letters and emails to each other, and I still cherish every single one. You were an amazing cousin and friend to me, and I'll never forget all the times that we had growing up. 

I wanted to share a memory too. When we were at the hospital waiting for JW to be born, there was a nurse that came and gave us stuffed animals while we were waiting. You gave yours to me. You have always been giving and thoughtful, and I know that's what so many people will remember you as too.

I was there with great grandma and aunty Eleanor and the family at Sunrise Mt. View Hospital  when you came into the world. You were such an adorable baby. The years rushed by and we shared many family dinners and celebrations. I remember how much fun it was at Lindo Michoacan. They put a sombrero on your head and serenaded  happy birthday to you.  I enjoyed that time with you so very much.  You loved the food ...we all did. So Conner, from now on, Lindo Michoacan will be Conner's Place to me. Gosh, I remember your awesome Graduation 👨‍🎓 Party!! We are all so proud of you, and fly out to Tennessee to see you. You are so smart and have just the best smile and generous, wonderful heart. Oh How my heart is hurting for you both. My stomach is sick every time I think about your sweet Connor💔 This Horrible awful thing no parent (Or sibling) should have to endure, for only God knows how long we are on earth. I pray that God envelops you in love, comfort, and strength During the extraordinarily difficult time. It doesn’t feel real and I don’t think it will for a long time. My words don’t feel enough, so I’m sharing the ones you liked. We’ll be strong, but we’ll miss you with every part of us. We love you, Conner.

I never really knew Conner as much as any other person. We went to high school together and ate lunch on the same table for two of my years at Cordova. He always knew how to make everyone laugh on the table. Thank you for the memories man. 

When Connor was in middle school, he was part of the Latin dance club. I remember watching the students have dance practice after  school in the lobby  when I picked up my students for tutoring and drop them off to be picked up.

He is  one of the students; I will never forget. 

I’ve known Conner for as long as I can remember. He was such a kind hearted individual and even through times where we drifted apart he was always checking in with me. I miss him and I will forever cherish the friendship we had. 

He and I worked together at Ultimate Foods. He was still in high school at the time. Always had his headphones in. Quiet, respectful guy, but when he spoke he displayed a colorful and humorous personality. 

Hi, Aunt Stacy  here!  just blessed to have him in my life, Memories of him, when he was the sweetest loving little, boy full of energy and joy and fun to be around. The youngest that wrapped up our bunch Loved his beautiful smile that lightened up the room , his laugh, when he would sing in the car with no fear.  I loved watching  all of his accomplishments and experiences of life  Ecspecially due to his mom Susan  my sister taking all the beautiful pictures and videos so we could be a part of his life  even the times we weren’t  able to,  when  we couldn’t be there , Precious moments  in time captured forevermore  to let us relive the love and happiness he brought to our life and watching him grow into the Amazing young man he became. To help me through this, Been thinking of him all the time I imagine that he is hanging out with me, may be at work or wherever just to have more time with him, He will always be there a beautiful soul.
There are so many  so many thoughts and memories but to name  a few, I thought it was  cool the way he would randomly do a jujitsu stance as he was walking , towards you,  I loved his outlook on the things and liked to hear him talk , to learn something on his perspective about minimalism, health,  his perspective of the world and the people in it. Loved watching tv with him like one strange rock that I told Your cousin Brandon to watch and he’s been watching it.  you guys were a lot alike the way you view things. Loved we shared our spicy 🌶 healthy drink together Loved eating dinner with you guys  and hanging out with you. You had my respect for the person you are Conner Loving, strong, intelligent, healthy mindful 
Consistent in working out, reading books, podcasts betterment in your heath and keeping after your loved ones to do the same 
Because you were caring of your loved ones, you were a doer like your mom always working hard and getting things done a hard worker never lazy or boastful, no b.s

I taught Connor in second grade. One of the most fantastic classes of my career. Even with a great class, Connor stood out as a hard worker, smart, sweet kid, who was a friend to all. His family is in my thoughts. May his memory be a blessing.

Conner was a joy to have in my art class at Cordova Middle. He was always smiling and making his friends and me giggle at practically anything. My heart aches for his family, friends and former teachers. Rest in eternal paradise sweet Conner. 

Conner was my absolute best friend. Any story in my life worth telling probably has Conner in it. The best times of my life were with him. By far the funniest guy I have ever known. Through the best and worst Conner was there. Not a day will go by where I don't think about him. I miss you man. Love always ❤️

One of my many great memories with Conner was a recent one. Conner had sign up to compete in a Spartan race with myself and his brother Jake months in advance before the race was to start. The months go by and true to his word Conner returned to California once the race day was upon us. We had great laughs on the trip there and especially on the way back. I remember trying to stay ahead of Conner during the race but like beast he was I was gassing out fast while he gain on me. We were coming up to the spear toss near the end and I miss while Conner in the true warrior spirit nails it and the next time I saw him was the finish line! Although this was just a race Conner indeed was a warrior and someone I respect very much. I know every time I run a Spartan race I’ll be pushing to get over that next obstacle to see if I can catch him. See you at the finish line brother!

So sorry to hear this.  Conner was a student of mine in the gifted class.  He was funny, kind, respectful, and always had a smile on his face.   What a wonderful young man.  Prayers to his family.


Conner was by far one of the funniest guys I’ve  ever met. From wrestling practices with him to sharing the same classroom we always had some great times !!!

Loved seeing Conner smiling in the halls of Cordova Middle School. Always so kind and helpful.

Such a warm hearted man. He came to my house a little over a week ago to give me some weightlifting equipment because he heard I was making a home gym, I didn’t even ask him. 
He was just so considerate.
The past few times I’ve seen Conner have been the happiest I’ve ever seen him as long as I’ve known him. I’m glad his last days were filled with so much happiness. We’ll miss you forever Chipsu

I miss it all, one of my best friends throughout middle and high school. I miss coming over and working out. I miss wrestling practice together. So many laughs and memories shared between us. Miss you Conner

Conner was a good man and a loyal friend. He was one of my first friends in kindergarten and forever after. There are too many memories to just pick one. We had some great times and I’ll miss Chipmane big time. 

 my favorite memory from working with chip  is when he used to let me cook on the grill.  we would always joke about the fajitas.  recently I would run into him when he worked at GNC or when he started working at the farmer's market and we would always have a chat about how life was going. we were interested in each other's lives and futures.  thank you to the people who raised him and made him who he was, and I'm so grateful that I got to know him for the last three years.

One of my favorite memories with Conner was when we all ran the Rugged Maniac and he and McKenzie totally blew us all out of the water. They were long gone as we just got started. Then at the finish line he had McKenzie on his back, both with huge smile on their faces!! It was a great day! 

One of my favorite memories with Conner was when I was first getting to know him when his brother and my sister got married in 2014. Conner was jake’s best man and I was sierra’s maid of honor. We were standing in line getting ready to walk down together and I asked him if his parents were going to let him drink when he gave his toast, he was only around 16 at the time. He responded by asking me if if my parents were going to let me drink which I thought was hilarious because I was 26.
